Account Setup

To start accepting payments with Wava, you need a merchant account in both development and production environments.

Development account

Go to the dev dashboard

Visit app.dev.wava.co and create an account with your email.

Create a test store

Create a test store with test data.

Complete the compliance form

Fill the compliance form with test data — there are no required fields in development.

Get your merchant key

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > API to get your development merchant key.Direct link: app.dev.wava.co/config#integrations

Visit app.wava.co and create an account.

Complete your business profile

Fill in your business information and required documentation.

Configure payment gateways

Enable the payment gateways you want to offer (Nequi, Daviplata, Breb).

Set up bank account

Configure your bank account for payouts.

Get your production credentials

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > API for your production merchant key.Direct link: app.wava.co/config#integrations
